panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18662 Posts	Posted 01/09/2021 09:00 am this is one of the coins on my sale list. i'd like to get CCF opinion of the coin for the buyer grade wise and I'm not sure if the obverse rim at K8-K10 is planchet related, strike or PMD. I can say that the rim is not pushed out in that area. I'm withholding my assessment so it doesn't influence anyone. Report this Post to the Staff

The rim issue may cause a bit of net-grading but shouldn't cause a details verdict. Might be slight PMD, might be die damage. Doesn't look like a planchet defect. Typical strike weakness on the stars but otherwise has sharp detail. I expect it should sell for $200-250. Report this Post to the Staff
