I posted this coin a few weeks ago, but the emphasis then was about the de-lamination along the bottom edge (you can see some on the reverse opposite the "DOL" at the bottom of the eagle. But that's not what this post is about. Today I'm looking to hear how you see this Morgan and what grade you might give it if you think it would grade.   |

I'll stick by my initial AU-50 as well. Not sure if the lamination issue will cause it to Details or not, seen them go both ways.

this year was typically very weak in strike. some of what we are seeing is strike related. although common for this year TPG's will diminish the grade a tad for strike. looks like you have some luster peaking through here and there. I dont think is enough wear or marks to bring it down to AU50 but dont think it can make 55 so I'm at AU53 |

I will say AU-50 as well but better photos may bring it up to AU-53/55

Your new photos are a bit washed out and show hardly any of the nicks or dings from the first set of pictures. I think your first pictures showed the coin more accurately.
