I have a 1969-s nickel and I'm trying to figure out it's worth it has a error on Jefferson's head a line runs through it.

If the line is raised above the surface it could be the result of a die crack and might be worth a tiny premium. If the line digs into the coin, it's most likely a scratch that carries no premium.
