Fort McHenry is getting fiber optics. Well what it looks like to me. The pictures dont even do this justice. Ok looks like a fiber optic wire was struck through and this is gonna be my favorite , that is if you all dont Gun it down out of the sky. I got couple more to post that have me at a loss, but for know check these out. My daughter helped out on some of these. I certain you will know the ones she did. Thanks y'all for your time. Sorry if there are doubles...

There wouldn't be a raised ridge showing along the mark of it was struck through.
Sorry but just damage.

If it is a scratch, it will be incuse on the coin. If it is raised, then it might be a die crack. Can't tell for sure from the image provided.

A struck through I thought can leave the debris in the coin sometimes.

A struck through won't have a raised edge on either side of the incuse area. A scratch will have raised areas (think of a tractor plowing a field).

A scratch for sure--looks like someone cut the surface with a knife or sharp blade.

Ok new picks. I'm not buying the scratch theory because I hope and think I got good pics. This looks punched in. I really appreciate all the replies but I cant settle with a scratch. It looks like a string or like a fiber. Any ways let me know how these look. If they are bad I'm going to go get a camera just for coins. Ok Thanks yall for your time.

Notice the crack at the bottom of the flag from the firework?

Thanks for the extra images. It is a coin scratch. Note there is a trench with a flat bottom on the trench. It appears to be scratched with a box knife. Note the lines flow on the bottom of the trench. Just a spender coin.

Thank you guys. It really looks like a fiber. I never seen a scratch go around the fireworks fingers or up and curve around the flagpole. Also there appears to be something in between the two fireworks where the scratch split towards the F in Fort and the flagpole. And in certain spottsbthe scratch is filled and raises over the flag pole. You say it's a crack coop then I'm going to go get a soda with it of course. But there are parties that are raised and not icused. I'm done with these phone photos. Also coop I have a coin that I think needs to be looked at professionally. Any suggestions? I have no problem paying for it and I'm sending this one with it lol. Drop me a email if you could. Thanks all. Majority rules. It's a scratch.

This image might help you visualize what we're saying.
Here's one of your images where I've added arrows to show you the raised areas adjacent to the scratch. A struck through error won't have these raised ridges. The surface of the die keeps these ridges from forming.
