it would have been better to see the minitmark and well as the whole coin, both sides, but from what can be seen, the grey colour along Abe's forehead is a split plating issue, and once this zinc is exposed zinc rot is soon to follow. This damage carries no premium, sorry.

I agree with Merclover, looks like split plating.

It maybe the tailing of a Struck Through Grease issue. Note how weak the eye area is? Also the motto devices above that area are shorter in height, so it may have been through a recent polishing that weakened area?
