You have another circulated damaged coin. It's not your fault though, blame the United States Mint. It's embarrassing, the quality and materials coming out of the Mint today! Spend it before it blows away!

I would spend it or allow it to blow away. Though I find the numbers and letters like the 6 in the edge to the right of the 2006 date. The T above the date the backwards D in front of the 2 on 2006. The D inside the cheek bone. The backwards BOY in the bottom of his sleeve the way the 0 in 2006 is branched out on the bottom. Plus the rest of the coin is not corroded and the copper in some spots are raised instead of indented. I can't think of what damage could do both without affecting the rest of the coin. Looks like broken molding or something. Could that be it

This is from zinc rot, the underlying zinc planchet is corroding and bubbling underneath the copper plating.
The letters and numbers you are seeing is all in your head, nothing here happened at the mint.
The BOY you are seeing though is the designers initials, V.D.B. It's on every cent.

Looks like a combination of damage and zinc rot. Wash your hands after handling!  to the CCF! |

no mint error here. Not sure what an "advised coin" is... what you have, as others have said is a heavily damaged ( PMD) coin with lots of blistering bubbling up from the zinc core, which oxidizes once opened resulting in a condition known as "zinc rot" as it will eventually eat itself. Spend it while you can. From the chronic zinc rot, this coin won't be around in ten years.  to the CCF!

Thank you all for your confirmation. Seems some may have taken me wrong. I diff not mean to imply that I thought you were wrong. I know that most if not all of you are way more knowledgeable in this field than I. I was just trying to learn what it could be and me being an amateur enthusiast hunter wanted it to be more I apologize.
