1882 Morgan Dollar: Can Anyone Tell If This Is An Error?

It says it's uncirculated, but does look like it was beat up at the mint. Hoping someone can say if it looks like an error or normal? * Edited by Staff to Add Year / Denomination to Title. The Carson City dollars were stored in bags of 1000 and they were moved when counted for inventory purposes a couple of times, then not until the great GSA Sale release in 1972 were they moved much. The mint would count bags stacked, in a cage or "vault room" then seal the door, so they didn't have to recount them each year. But they did get moved about occasionally. The enormous weight of hundreds of other coins on top of each other could easily make quite deep strikes and gashes into each other, most Carson City dollars never released into the banking system for use as regular coinage. They tend to show up in uncirculated condition yet more often than not very bag marked and very few with clean mark free surfaces. Many MS60 through MS63 where the MS64 and above coins are much more scarce and the really high grade clean mark free Carson City dollars (MS67 and up) bring big money when they sell.
