Ok, now when I bought this I did not know it was the DDR, and apparently this is the only known doubled die in the entirety of the trimes production of both the silver and the nickel types. This I know is a class V pivoted hub doubling, FS-801. My personal grade on this trime is roughly a VF-30. What I do not know is its potential value and if you all have ever seen another example. Rothery Pillar of the Community 2145 Posts	Posted 01/15/2021 9:09 pm Nice doubling on the right side lower stars. It may even be up to VF35 but are those bumps and dents on the coin? If so it may be detailed because of that, don't know how much it would affect the price. there are examples for sale on the internet and even on ebay. apcol258 Valued Member United States 202 Posts	Posted 01/15/2021 10:33 pm I believe you are correct that in the Three Cent Silver series this is the only known double die variety. There are multiple double (even triple) die varieties in the Three Cent Nickel series. It's value maybe somewhere between 1.5-2 times the value over a normal 1852 example of the same grade.
