@John1 I did the research from that website I booked marked. Ok so this date at first thought DD, or MD. Then I thought I have not seen either like this and followed John's advice. Ok so the mint Mark's where well know to be double stamped until 89 if I recall, and filled mint marks are also very common for these dates. It looked like the date was mushed. So Double Stamped Date. Tell me your educational attempts are working. Thanks yall.

I'd have to say that MD or Die Deterioration. But you're looking in the right spot for sure!

Ok for educational purposes. Will someone please explain how Die Deterioration or wear. I'm not seeing the signs for that. I dont recall seeing MD all the way around the letter or number. Usually just one or two sides that I notice. I was sure I had this one. I even researched this on error coin reference and man I thought I had this one. I need a drink.

@MOS0239 do you sell on ebay. If so give me the link please.
Coin does not have the flow lines from DDD. The date looks like when you icing between two cookies. Not arguing at all. Those sure want the relies I was expecting though.

No, sorry I don't.

Besides, I don't want to sell them to you, I wanted to give them to you.

@John1 well I'll be damned. See what can be accomplished sitting down and eating some popcorn. Thanks for the new bookmark. I do apologize if I offended anyone by questioning your opinions I asked for. I know you look at just pictures and not the coin in person in which I guess that may cause questioning of your replies. I thank you all for your time and patience with me. Wish I could buy yall a beer...

I really do appreciate that. But we "all" contribute when a member posts a question.
