OK, I had a pile of dime laying around for a week or so. I picked 4 of them up this morning to just to stack them. What I thought at first was a penny was in the stack. I kept looking for the penny,, LOL,,, Not really paying attention. WEll,,, this is what I found. I am assuming it is a Dryer Coin,,, Kids think it is pretty Kool. What do you guys think. This was found in a roll of coins I got from the bank though,,, LOL,,, Thanks in Advance...

Well, I guess I was right,,,,, yea for m,,,lol,, keeping the coin any way,,, I guess my coin didn't ride that long cause it sure looks less damaged. Thanks coop

It's not a Dryer Coin, but it was certainly damaged outside the Mint.
Error coin writer and researcher.

I've seen this type of damage done with a copper pipe reducing tool. No idea if someone was trying to make a fake error or was just bored.

Really mikediamond,,, not a Dryer Coin,,,even with all the damage on the obverse and the reverse,,, who in the world would take that much time to destroy a beautiful coin,,,,oh,,,i forgot we all have extra time covid-19...Lol,,, I'm keeping him any way. Kids would kill me if I spent it now,,,..Lol..They think it is so kool. I have found quarters like this buy never a dime, and one that clean. Thank you all *** Edited by Staff to remove YELLING.
