Need some help with this coin. I see what appears to be the word"IN", behind the word "united"on the reverse.

Maybe some linear plating issues or something else, but there is no "IN" there - it's your imagination at work.

So between the "I" and "T" on "united" on the reverse, that isn't an "E". Don't think that is my " imagination"..

RedMP1972, hold a Lincoln Shield cent with the shield facing you with your thumb nail between the I and T in united, slowly turn the coin over without moving your thumbnail and look what is on the "heads" side of the coin. As you would see is that if there was an E, there would be an "E" on the "heads" side where your thumb nail is. Can you see what I mean? Also the "E" would be backwards.
