Back for some more assistance. Found this on a run through my "needs a second look" pile. The outside of the 3 in the date has what looks like weak hubbed doubling, but my gut tells me it is Die Deterioration. There also appears to be a small spread on some of the letters of IGWT (especially the R in TRUST). Help a brother out? What do you all think?

I'm thinking classic Die Deterioration doubling--shows very well on late die state wheat cents--especially from the 50s.

That was my gut suspicion, I appreciate the confirmation. Thanks!

You'll find the 1953's can have the "Poor man's doubled die" on the 3 as the 1955's have on the last 5 - both from DDD

Die wear moving towards the rim. 54% of the dies breakdown to look like this when the dies reach VLDS. (Very-Late-Die-State)
