here is a scanned image of the very first coin I ever remember saving, from change. in 1960 I was seven years old, and just "discovering" coin collecting. I was allowed to take a few coins from my mother's change purse. this one was kept in a small jar with a piece of cloth to prevent it from moving around. somewhere along the way, I placed it in a clear acrylic holder where it still remains. I grade it a large (i re-read the description and agree ((L.D.)) date, nearly MS. opinions are welcomed. thanks

Looks like a large date to me, but wait for a more expert opinion.

Your first coin kept from change almost fifty years ago? Priceless!

Large date for sure and it's the story behind it that makes this coin special. What else did you pull out of circulation back in 1960? There were lots of great coins to be found in change back then.
