1990 Penny Raised Lines Above United States Of America

There are raised lines above some of the lettering. Is this called something? Is it normal? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

Follow the link to ' Die Deterioration'--great photos illustrating the issue. Full photos of the coin's obverse and reverse would help add context for what we're seeing. Thanks.
