Hello,

I'm in the process of searching through bank rolls of 2000 P Virginia Quarters and found this writeup at https://www.coinworld.com/news/prec...r-types.html which I have been using as a reference for errors of this specific coin.

Because I am a novice, I am having trouble determining what some of these errors would look like. Based on the descriptions of the site, I have possibly found a few. I have attempted to search the internet for some reference images, and not having much luck.

Would anyone happen to know of a complimentary site that would have these images?

I've also included one of the coins that appears to have the "Die scratch appears in the O of DOLLAR (Error 2)." To show as an example.

What is being described with those die stages is a series of striking mishaps caused by a malfunction die press. The minor die scratches mentioned were used to determine the chronology of these misstrikes to figure out how the die press gradually failed. Is your coin struck off-center, broadstruck, struck with partial collar (partial reeding on edge)? If no, then it's not it.

Also, there are images there. Click on the right arrow on the right side of the header image in the article.

The scratch through the O on your coin appears incuse, so that would be a contact mark ( PMD).
