This coin weighs 7.76g and is 27.5x26mm in diameter and 1 to 1.5mm in thickness (at widest and narrowest). I looked all over acs search, cng research, and the David Sear books and could not find anything that looked like the coin I have. The portrait appears to be Apollodotus II? But all of his AE coins are square, I think with the exception of one which depicts a god on the obv and not the king himself. As seen in photos, there is something odd right above the kings portrait on obv, may be a removed mount or something. The thickness from it is visible from the edge. Any help with this attribution would be most appreciated.

The good news is that the ruler's name (not Apollodotus!) is clear and complete. The bad news is that the coin should be silver.

Thanks for the help with this. Does the style of my coin clearly indicate a modern forgery, or is this some sort of fouree?

Not my area, but while I suppose it could be an ancient imitation in base metal, I lean toward it being modern.

I think modern. The "something odd" above the portrait is the channel which fed the mold.
