Ok so when it comes to damaged coins (ex: squished or run over by a tank etc) do they have any value? Such as the 1st coin I posted out of the 4?
Then in regards to the 1988 coin, there's smudged next to the mint Mark. Otherwise it would seem like a MS65 (unless I'm mistaken). I saw a similar coin being a MS66 and it too had minor scratches on it.
Lastly am I wayyyy off to assume these are all ms65 or ms66 (excluding the beat down coin). Thanks for the feedback!
If they don't work in a vending machine, you can take them to the bank and they will return it to the mint to be canceled. But no premium for a damaged coin. Just face value.
Would need closer-in, high resolution photos of each coin to have any hope of attaining an accurate grade assessment. Given what been posted above, the mangled quarter is worth 25 cents. The remaining coins range from high very fine (FV+) to possibly low AU--25 cents each. Again, need better photos--preferably one coin per thread. I'm not seeing any coin--given the current images above--that cracks the MS grade threshold.
