Nice one! Surprising to see such a nice coin from pocket change.

You can see the die marker for RPM-002 in your full coin obverse view. The die gouge below the bust really shines.

Great looking coin from circulation. Nice RPM.
I just pulled about 30 "uncirculated red" 71-D from circulation. I think some people been getting into the grandparents stash recently

I would like to see a full date and mintmark location to verify this one on your coin.

Coop, why? The die marker is plainly visible.

The variety comes first. Markers that match second. Best to confirm location of the mintmark to be sure. People makes mistakes just going by markers first: _JPG_AAA.jpg) Probably still on their site. (Just checked, it is not still on their site)

Nobody on here looked at the die gouge and said "this must be an RPM". We can clearly see the RPM and position where it is to the 96 of the date and it matches to the one listed. Then the die gouge. Not everyone on here needs educating on attributing a coin.

Thank you everyone and for coop a Date shot. It might not be a RPM-002 it has the die gouge BUT not the Die Crack EDS ? CoinHunter, I was also surprised as well to see this coin from >> Walmart of all stores. I have to agree with Kloccwork419:I think due to all this stuff going on people are digging in to there change jars and spending for goods so keep ya eyes out for coins.

Location is correct. When I tried the full coin shot, it was questionable with my quick method. (envelope on the bottoms of the '9's. With that image I was able to be sure. It is a match.

Thanks Coop. So then would I 2X2 it as RPM-002 EDS due to not having a Die Crack from the W in to the hair?

It looks like that die state by the fields. You might have to check to see if the other devices are showing die polishing wear. (That makes the devices smaller than other coins) Note the differences in sizes on these examples. The die was polished, it reduces the fields and the devices are lower in height.
