This 1966 5 Cent nickel shows a fully formed claw under the belly of the beaver, it also has the "Eyes" (die chips in the loupes of 66).

With a low mintage of 27,976,648, in my opinion, is fairly scarce.

Grade wise, it is nice, it just has some surface gunk that will easily clear up with acetone if I chose to give it a bath.

That's a nice one, cool find!

I found a couple 5c DDRs like this in the batch of Canadian coins I was able to get my hands on here in the states: http://crdievarieties.com/doku.php?id=canada

Tanman2001,
Those are some good ones, I have just completed a full set from 1960 through to 1969 (minus the 1967 rabbit nickel) and I also managed to find one for 1972. I noticed for 1963 the "Claw" can vary in location and size, but all of the extra claws I have in my set are the same size and shape as the one included in this post.
