Question About Statehood Quarters Proof Set

My2cent Valued Member United States 484 Posts	Posted 02/13/2021 12:12 pm I was given this as a gift yesterday and I'm not sure if it came from the mint or not. My question is about the color. Should it look golden like this or did it get plated? I have never had any proof quarters before so I don't really know. Report this Post to the Staff

ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19150 Posts	Posted 02/13/2021 3:54 pm Looks like a standard mint proof set with some light environmental toning (not plated)--not terribly uncommon with proof sets I have a number of them with subtle/pale gold toning--very subtle.
