When you get them sorted out, check out the sites before you start searching through these coins. Get a sense of what to look for on them. What areas that are affected by doubled dies and RPMs. Then other odd coins put in a separate pile to check later. A damaged coin is just a face value coin. If there are incuse marks on a coin, the rims are damage, bent coins, odd colored coins that are normal. Just a lot of things that people hang onto, that are more of a spender item. Then other times something will look normal to them, but are really something collectable. So take your time with them. Check them the first time. Set them aside. (don't spend them) Then re-check them when you learn more about what is out there. Your knowledge will grow. Go through them several times before spending them. See what could be out there.
