Hi everyone! This is my first time posting in the forum so please let me know if I've landed in the wrong place. I've never seen any doubling on a coin before so I'm not sure what I've got here. Is this a doubling on a 1958 D Wheat penny? Maybe around Abe's chin/mouth area, and a little on the date?

Any help would be appreciated.

-Hannah

I was doing more reading and thought it might be Machine Doubling (which personally I still think looks pretty cool). I just started collecting after my uncle passed on some coins to me, and I'm just now going through bags of wheat pennies--it's been a fun project during the pandemic. Thanks so much to you both!

With all those wheat cents, be sure to keep an eye out too for die cracks, lamination peels, die chips, and woodys.
