What's going on anyways 2.14 g but it's not any thinner that I can see than a normal coin and to my eyes it doesn't have enough PMD to justify this type of weight loss.
I'm no expert that's why I'm asking you guys, what is the reason for this?

It should weigh 2.27 grams so It is very close to mint tolerance. probably a very slight under weight planchet and 48 years of circulation wear

The mint tolerance for a dime is .09g so yours is only .04g
underweight. Possibly a slightly thinner planchet.
Not enough to warrant any premium

Some of that wear could be from circulation wearing off part of the coins surface.

Okay so my original thought of it not being that damaged was incorrect. Thanks for the info coop. I will be saving the weight chart that you were so wonderful enough to make for me. Thanks everyone for always being there when I am confused. I know it can be often.
