Despite spending most of my time restoring dateless Buffalo nickels, my own personal set is 100% original dates. This is my newest addition. My goal is to have every coin in the set possess a full horn. I have about 7 or 8 more to go. As you might imagine, most of those are keys, but the 1925-D is going to be a challenge, as well. This 1913-D T2 must have been a great strike. Even in it's current VF or XF state you can still almost see the split tail. Edited by weerdsteev 12/17/2008 8:17 pm

That's an amazing strike for that date. Nice pickup!

I wish all my complete set of Buffalos had full horns. That must be a nice looking herd.

Thanks all! Okie_Colin - It will be nicer when I get it there. Right now, my other major keys range from VG to F, and the 25-D is only like G-4. I got this 13-D T2 from a partial set that I bought. It had some other nice upgrades (for my set) in it, but this was the only key that was better than any I already possessed.

Very nice coin. Too bad about the reverse rim damage. Nice photos, too, BTW.

Hunter20ga - Yep, that little cut at 12:00 on the reverse is unfortunate, but I'll keep it just the same. It adds character!

And another one bites the dust! Here is another new arrival/addition in my quest for an all "full horn" set. Too bad about the long scratch on the obverse, but I guess I can live with it.
