In that era, most (not all) of the Philadelphia (P) Lincoln Wheat Cents had higher mintages than those struck at Denver (D) and San Francisco (S) mints. For example, mintage of the 1926-D was 28,020,000, and that of the 1926-S was 4,550,000; thus, the D- and S-mint cents from that year are more desirable to collectors. Report this Post to the Staff

panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18689 Posts	Posted 02/17/2021 10:05 am i would grade the coin in the F12 area. the coin most likely would not grade straight with the dig on the shoulder. its deep and displacing metal or at least appears that way in the photo. the coin appears to be all original and never cleaned. the overall brown color is consistent on both sides which is desirable for LWC's Report this Post to the Staff
