It does kind of have a rotated look to it.
IMHO, the real value for this coin would be in the high grade?

Absolutely Pete. Cool one to look at though.

Yeah, nice, but that's $200 more than the coin at grade sells for and even $100 above the PCGS estimated value. I get it that there is a "make offer" but I strongly dislike sellers that ask far more than what something is worth up front. Seems dishonest.

It looks good but that price is quite high. Even if you got an offer accepted it would be quite expensive for an example even at this grade IMO.

Has a DDR from what I can see, possibly the eye too but that price is crazy. Not worth it.

I watched the listing and the seller accidentally sent me an offer of $43 on that coin. I declined and messaged him that it was a typo. I'm sure they would have caught it if I had accepted.

LOLOL. I would have snagged it. Hopefully, for them, you were the only one it went to. I think they have to end the listing to get rid of them offers. I never noticed where to stop an offer that I send to buyers.

I looked at the three and picked the one I thought was the best. Checked on coinfacts and sure enough it was one of the plate coins for 1938-D. And so I clicked "watch" to see if the seller would send me an offer. He did, and after a short haggle actually did come down over $200 from the asking price. So I've got coming a coinfacts plate coin DDO-001. Thanks Will for getting me in trouble with my wife for spending that much on, to her, a penny.

I mean, if she gets mad about this I'm glad she didn't find about your 55 FS-101.

Nice batts. I saw the plate coin was missing and sent the seller a low offer on one of the others. Finally ended up getting one as well. (I sold a Washington today for the same price and great profit, so it went right on the PayPal)!!
The original from this post is the only one he has left in red. Looks like he does have a 67+RB. NGC

Nice! Good to see these getting into variety collector hands instead of just disappearing into the mists of time.
