Nice example of a counter-struck coin. Some people collect these. Sadly, they aren't worth a heck of a lot--even to those who love 'em.

Thanks yall very much now I know I have a poast mint damageed coin it was really bugging me when I spend 30 munits looking up one thing on my phone to come to no revale

When a coin is damaged, it's still worth face value. No premium for damage on a coin.

anyone can stamp coins and create a collection so I do not think there is value on these, but that is just my opinion

Though modern coins have a limited collector base and don't carry that much of a premium, coins from the 1800's are a different story. They were often counterstamed and used for store cards. These have a broader collector base and can carry more of a premium.

If you aren't afraid to spend a little extra time on the Googles, you may be able to track down some history behind it. I have found a few of these that I really appreciated the history behind so I kept them.

Where would I go to finde out the history of a certent coine bc now I'm in wonderment over the history of this penny its my first collecter peace sence iv started a month ago
