That is Machine Doubling. on the post 1973 Dimes there are only two listed on Wexler's lists. None on Variety Vista. OBV: http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...Listings.htm DDR: A few more on the central areas on the newer dimes. http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...Listings.htm On the DDR's there are a few more, but in the areas where everyone looks. They are the single squeeze dies that have the doubled dies in the central areas of the designs. Starting in the late 1990's: So depending on the year, there are some with a few doubled dies, and a lot if years with none.
