Hi,
So I just cracked this one out of a Bicentennial 3pcs set.
I know little about this serie and overall coins in the higher MS-grades but I think the obverse looks really good.
The reverse has some contactmarks at about 14:30 but the main issue are the white scratchlike "toning". Could this be a result of beeing stored in the setplastic for over 45 years?
If so, would an acetonebath help to remove it?
Even if I somehow got the "scratchtoning" removed I guess the coin might be a grade short to justify a
TPG grading cost?
