I am beyond excited to have this coin. I picked it up for $42, which is crazy. It was an auction, and no one had done anything in 6 days so threw in an offer and surprisingly the seller accepted! Weighs 3.0 grams, looks authentic to me. 100% the best coin in my collection.

A stunning example. For $42 I'm a buyer all day! Amazing pickup and congrats on owning a real rarity! I'm thinking maybe 95-100 degree rotation?

Guessing not double-struck, just a vise job.

Thanks CH27! You think so Coinfrog? Here's a PCGS graded one that looks almost identical to mine:

That's pretty good input, I'm clearly wrong here. Should have looked more closely.

@Coinfrog, no problem. With over 50,000 posts, you're clearly a rock star (coin star?) here. After looking at these postings all day, of which probably well over 90% are PMD, it's easy to get jaded! Also, takes a good person to admit you're wrong.

That is pretty amazing - don't see double struck Lincolns very often. seems 42$ was a great deal too....
