Another project, not for submission, I'm looking at this and was wondering what you guys thought about price and condition. I'm haggling over $5 at this point, he wants $119

I think it barely makes VF-20. Decent coin, but the price seems a bit high.

The coin looks original battle ship grey. VF20 The price is on the high side, but the seller knows he has a quality coin for grade.

I'd agree, F-15, maybe VF-20. Nice example, but priced high.

Well if I can get it for $105, I'm going to eat the few bucks, I had one offer left to make and I made it, he hasn't responded.
What would be a fair price ? Not that it makes a difference on this guy, but for educational purposes.
Thanks guys

Nice coin but I don't like that the T in Trust is not complete , maybe a bit of grease on the die . So it depends on what kind of project your using it for . VF-20 ,I would go for $80 nothing more .

IMHO, the 11-D is F-15. Personally, I'd attend a show and shop around for a comparable, raw common date. If you must go with impulse, how about this PCGS VF-25 for a few bucks more? Then, you'll have a coin that sidesteps quibbling over the grade .... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1911-Barbe...AOSwCIdfA8Fj

The PCGS 1911 that Exoguy posted does not have a D mint mark.

Greetings! Checkout Greysheet - currently $45 (F) $112 (VF) - big gap to fill due to F15 and not F12. Still nowhere near ask. PCGS, which graded the ebay coin mentioned only has $85 as its value. If the ebay coin is not the exact one in your pictures, I think others' grade plus the above info from Greysheet Bid and PCGS should be signs of potential overpricing here. For what it's worth.... Stay well, Diy89Nurm7

I find that, at shows, many dealers sell at or near BID. Also, there's no shipping, no tax and no waiting for the often tedious/oten trying USPS!

So after hunting all night, this is the one I came up with for $38 Its not as nice as the one above, but like I said its for a project box, not grading. You guys think this one is close to the other one accounting for price difference?
