IM SO HAPPY... My room mate found this out side on the ground in a parking lot. he thought it was a dime so he picked it up come to find out it's a 1943 Steel
Wheat penny a war time effort penny....he put it in my dirty penny bag and for got to tell me about it..I took all my decaying rotting dirty pennies to a coin star and it literary shot out of the machine ricoshaying out of the little cup for coines that could not be red and landed next to my right foot as if it where ment for me I'm a huge WWI-WWII nerd love everything between the giant war machanes used for moving dirt and crushing boulders into gravel for run ways on Okinawa to the smallest hand guns( pistol USA colt pockit hammerless )... I'm new to coineing little over a month now and have a small collection of pennies I have 3 of the 4 2009 bicentennial pennies the 1991 d Counter stamped with FST a hand full of wheat pennies and a 1959 penny splattered with micro
Cuds little balls of metal on the obvers and reverse of the coin and now my first war time effort penny...soooooooo I'd like to know the grade bc I'm not the best at grading and if any one sees any errors I personally can not see any just some fading on the E and L in pluribus and the wheat tips on the right hand side running into the lines behind the wheat making it look like the wheat and lines are one.... Here is my lucky war time effort penny that found me.
