Can Anyone Provide History On Albert W. Ault Token?

macmercury Pillar of the Community United States 5822 Posts	Posted 02/27/2021 8:46 pm I bought this token or Encased Coin out of sheer curiosity on ebay, not digging hard enough myself to get information about it, hoping members here would know the history. I don't think is that old, because the front has what feel like a plastic plate covering a cut out of the US 5 cents part of Franklin & Washington souvenir sheet that the US Postal service issued around 1967? I saw two other ebay seller has listing for the Washington 10 cents with the same inscription Encased Coin. (These are expensive comparing from the seller I purchased from.) Only guessing that the institution in Cincinnati is doing a advertisement in financing loans and will considerate expensive stamps and coins as collateral? Image of seller photos. Lucky Cuss Pillar of the Community United States 4883 Posts	Posted 02/28/2021 08:53 am The CIPEX souvenir sheet that was the source of that imperforate 5¢ stamp dates from 1947. The address on the reverse (Cincinnati 2, O) would've been valid prior to late 1963 when postal zip codes and the current two letter state abbreviations came into use.
