Hi Podo,
It's a good-looking cent with a sharp strike. I'd put it in the AU-55 to MS-62 range. I think I see some light wear on Lincoln's coat, jaw, and on ONE CENT so AU-55 is the conservative grade. If it does make the mint state cut the faint dark spots would hold it down to maybe MS-62. The lighting make the coin look pretty red but I suspect it would earn a brown (BN) or maybe red-brown (RB) designation from a grading service.

I'd put the value in the $10 range. If you paid $5 or less you got a good deal.

Grade: MS63RB
Price: $17 (raw)
Payed: $10

If this coin were in a PCGS/NGC slab at MS63RB, it would be worth $30 easily.

The lighting is a bit too strong, but there appears to be a little wear. The 1909's are usually from good die states and well struck.

I got it for 3.26. Really took a chance at this one. The picture was to big and blurry
probably taken with a phone. But when it came with all the luster I was amazed.

I use 70 points for each side, take into effect eye appeal, luster, year, mint, etc. and then avg.
