Oils from your skin can penetrant the surface of the coin and can greatly diminish any numismatic value they might have. A better strategy is to lay your coin down on a hard surface and photograph them directly from above. Questions? Just ask! Report this Post to the Staff

Holding it by the edge isn't really an issue, but were that a real '69-S DDO, touching the surface could cost you big. Report this Post to the Staff
