to CCF,

I would first like to see better photos, full coin of both sides cropped so only the coin shows. Hopefully while it is not inside the 2x2 - which is causing a glare on the reverse.

It looks like glue that someone has pressed another coin into.
Soak in acetone and see if your error disappears

I know you guys can't see the coin in person but this wasn't bought from a "dealer" it was found in pocket change and coinfrog you commented on my last post being critical as well I've actually already done acetone bath and this is the coin state after the fact. This is a legit die struck error and I came here for honest opinions not negativity.

Looks more like a vice gripe job, the obverse has a mirror image of the reverse, showing the letter reading in backward. If it was a double struck coin, all the letters should be right reading.

Edit: No disrespect, but in order for collectors here to help identify a true error, better and larger pictures is needed by removing the coin from the holder, the glare isn't helping either.

Eager to see new photos--full obverse and reverse, removed from the 2x2 would be best. Thanks.

The obverse appears to show reverse lettering--tip off of coins pressed together.

Ok, if the coin flipped over and got a second die strike, please explain to us why it's mirrored.

Try this. Take two coins, and glue them together with Elmer's glue, then tomorrow, pull them apart. You will see exactly what your seeing on your coin.

Yup, most people don't realize Elmer's glue dries clear. We used to coat finished puzzles with it and frame them when I was a kid.

How long have you soak it in acetone? The edge clearly shows some form of residue.

Well once again, 2 coins were glued to your coin, One on the front (obverse), and One on the back (reverse), then they were pried apart. Exact same thing coop told you to do as an experiment.

Yeah, it's even more obvious in the new images.
