Do you think this is a Pre Cud? Thanks for opinions.

I don't know which coins I dislike the most to search Nickels Dimes or those VAMs.

Yes seems to be a pre-cud, although I don't see it listed on the cuds-on-coins website. Could be a good find!

Looks more like a splash like wave from metal movement to me. if it were a Cud, it would rise higher than the rim area. As much as the void would fill. I'm not seeing that here.

Was thinking about this last night. Here's a few/6 closeups. I'm thinking now it's something like Rim Fin or (?)
I hate wasting JC's time.I already sent Pre Cud info. I sent him these pictures.
Now whatcha think?

Appears to be indented.

Also too small of an area for me to count as a Cud. IMO.

Well. Sense coop got me thinking I looked closer.
It looks like the part where the blue arrows are pointing belongs back where the black arrows are pointing. The metal at blue is folded over from the rim. That's the bottom of metal of rim. If you picture rolling it back over then where the red arrows are pointing it would line up with the angle of rim.
Now if I'm right my question. What would it be called? I don't think it's a Rim Fin. What ever it's called I wonder when and how it happened? It's pretty clean and close to the field. Not real loose. Probably could pry it back over. At least away from field.

Or.... A struck through a piece of debris? See if the same thing is going on, on the outside edge of the coin? What I saw different on the closer view of the images was in imprint of the flow lines on the affected area. (Images 5 and 6 counting from the top) So I leaning more towards a struck through issue of debris? That would explain why the metal looked folded over and even attached. On the last image: note the blue arrows? That is showing there the plating moved to form that area. So I'm learning more towards the struck though debris theory, because of the better images added to the thread.
