For those who don't know I have a massive soft spot for russet toned coins, that blend of originality is something I really love, so when I saw a beaut of a coin like this I was determined to snag it. Russet toned morgans are unusual, so I was glad to add it to my collection.

Very attractive for sure. Doesn't seem like the kind of coin that would fit in your high-grade collection.

Not really the goal with this one Frog, it'll likely get put in my Morgans album though.

Nice but the way you were raving about it I thought there would be more of that kind of toning .

Russet toning here looks good--likely not derived from a ride in a russet potato (by way of an oven).

I wish I could program my eyes to see past the blackness on coins like this, then I could appreciate them more. The black just reminds me too much of the (legitimate surface) circulation gunk I have removed slowly from the details of coins using a microscope and porcupine quill.

Glad for you that you found one you like Thanks for sharing.
