Large-Date-Over-Small-Date?
Hi John, I'm Julia. I'm taking photos with a headlamp as my light so as not to wake up my baby lol. Extremely poor conditions, but I will try harder :) Does it look like a small date underneath to you? The curve in the underlying onelooks more small-dateish to me

to CCF. Large date. Looks like you will need to work on your coin photo taking skills a bit more. I know it is not easy. What is your set up, maybe we can give you some pointers.

There is no such thing as a 1982 Large Date over Small Date. What you have is just a regular Large Date.

It is a large date. Note the '2' upside down looks like a '7'.

Also the '2' is further from the rim on the small date:

Used to be the 1970-S was the most often asked question. I guess it is moving up a few years now. (We get something so well known, that the only ones who ask now about the 1970-S small dates are the ones are not small dates) Because after they know what a small date looks like, then the know, and don't ask anymore. They are proud then to show it off.

2 to go.
