Hello, found this copper 1982 P which weighs 3.1 grams. I think there is an obverse doubled die, mostly on the motto, toward the top of the script. Look at TRUST at the T,R, and the S. Not sure about liberty and the date. Or is this because of diteration of the coin? Check the pics and TIA. Sorry about the number of obverse and reverse pics, but my camera stand doesn't extend enough to give full pics. Regards!
The die that struck your coin is a very late die state. You can see the heavy flow lines, the distortion of the devices in the direction of the rim. On the DDO, the devices are enlarged: Note the extra width of the devices. On Liberty, the bottom the devices are widening there.
