It looks like it might be an edge ding. There are a couple places on the lower reverse rim that look like they may line up with spots on the upper obverse rim, including the " Cud", making me suspect they are damage.

Guys there is NO hit to the rim, Slight hit on the right of the copper bump causing a lil damage. but the rim is clean of hits no pushed copper from a hit.
I would call the a die chip so far. When the die break off and forms a void that will make the metal flow over that rim, then I would call it a Cud. (A Cud would leave a weakness on the opposite side of the coin because of the missing die metal to not leave resistance to form the opposite die devices)
