These notes are standard JIM notes from WWII. But in 1944 and 1945, The US Psyops teams working with the Philippine army, used these notes to send disheartening messages to the Japanese army. I have about 30 of these with lots of different messages. (POW) )MCARTHUR IS HERE) etc. I have many, with other messages. Very cool in my opinion, and not real easy to find these.

There are many instances of banknotes being used in the propaganda war. Not of much notaphilic value at first, but are now very collectible and interesting.

If they were intended for the Japanese Army, why are they in English? I would have thought that very few common soldiers could have read English.
