Hi Everyone, first and foremost thank you ahead of time, this community is awesome and I appreciate your help and expert knowledge.

This coin looks like a strike through grease error to me, but it could just be major damage.

What do you think ?

Well it looks like a Wheat cent. If copper, it is worth copper melt. But much more beyond that, it is not to desirable.

What do I think?
I think it is badly corroded. Maybe it has been buried for awhile.

Not a Greaser. Looks like acidic damage.

Environmental corrosion/acidic damage, post mint. No numismatic value at this point.

When you get a "no," don't forget about that search bar. It's really helpful to search through other peoples' postings and see some good examples of confirmed greasers!

Keep looking!
