Hey Friends,

I found this yesterday. I am assuming that this is a: Lamination error? But check out the numbers underneath the shoulder Lincoln. Does it appear it's number 1000? Vs. the designer's initials?

I see what you are describing, but with this much circulation wear, it is hard to know if we are just seeing a little damage nestled in and around the tops of VDB. For sure it cannot be 1000 though.

Under the TR of TRUST and east of Lincoln's face could be lams, but it's hard to tell with so much wear and tear.

Under the shoulder is just the normal VDB with some damage.

Damage can affect coins mostly in a bad way. So when something is damaged, it is considered a face value coin. But this one is a damaged Wheat cent to put into you wheat pile:
