It's a non-secured website and it hasn't had an update since 2019 besides the comments on the previous thread listed above. Not Good.

I found this news release from when they reformed in 2019 the comments there are also not good.

The CCF link above has gone dormant since 2/2019, apparently, so I'll post here. PCGS sold a ten year license to a group of currency graders who operated as PCGSC (PCGS Currency -- very reputable!). When the license expired PCGS closed down PCGSC and launched their own currency grading service, PCGS Banknote. The other crew of expert graders led by their chief, Jason Bradford, launched LEGACY.

Unaware at the time, I sent about a dozen notes for grading to PCGSC about a month before the license got pulled in January, 2019. By June, having heard no word, I'd kissed my notes fare thee well. Around August they were delivered by courier expertly graded in LEGACY holders. My notes had sat safe while the newbie service staffed by veterans launched itself. LEGACY promises to continue to stand behind decisions they made / notes they graded under the PCGS license.

I would willingly send notes to LEGACY. I would encourage others to do the same if so inclined. A little competition in the works benefits the industry's customer base.

Just a side note, currency not already graded and held in a PCGSC holder cannot be had as such. I have a cache of 33 pristine Disney Dollars in PCGSC holders. The population of these Disney Dollars graded is only around 20,000. Rarity has joined rarity. Not in my lifetime, but eventually PCGSC's loss will become a collector's gain, I'm quite sure.

Just ran across this article in CoinWeek. Things are not going well for Legacy Currency Grading's head Jason Bradford, it was decided by PNG to expel him from the organization rather than accept his resignation.

Since 1955 the PNG has been one of the premium service companies that handles ethics and dealer issues. More about who and what they are: https://pngdealers.org/about-us/
