Arrrggggg....some times I take a chance on an ebay coin. Well, fuzzy, crappy pics sometimes show a better coin in hand....not this time. LOL Seller described as "full wheat lines" so I figured OK, I'll roll the dice on an EF coin for $3.24 shipped. This is what I got:

Note: The cheek and jaw are complete merged, totally flat.

A long way from EF but still a nice example of an F15.

If you were looking for a 20-S in EF you should have let me know (that goes for anybody). I got multiples of just about everything. I have been trying to motivate myself to get my collection together and sell off some. I have taken that chance too on ebay, lost a few but won some. Picked up a couple of proofs for my set last week that had bad pics (scans) should know soon if I did good or not.

Really shows you that some folks selling coins on ebay have never heard of grading or just don't know how to grade. I've done the same thing BadThad so don't feel bad! At $3.24 out the door, whats the point of returning. Having said that: F12

Chris - I'm not looking, just rolling the dice with $3. LOL

It's not a bad coin really.

I guess we've all been there with ebay before. Like you said, Thad, it's just $3 that you gambled and you ended up getting what looks to be a fair deal instead of an awesome deal. Now if it had bee three HUNDRED dollars in question...that would be a different story!

Your coin is F15 with some corrosion on the obverse. Far from EF45.
