Recent purchase, luster and strike seemed above average, usually not a Peace dollar fan, but this one stood out.

Is that a scratch on the neck? Reverse looks weak? Check ebay for photos and grades and values to compare.

Nice rims and good luster. Nice clean face w/no major hits. I'm used to seeing these w/lots of die cracks...so I'm assuming the scratch John1 is asking about is a die crack? She's got some ticks and a couple of milk spots. Kind of weak on the reverse but no major hits to the eagle or the rays.
This would have caught my eye as well.
MS-63 maybe 64?
Nice pick up!

Actually, that is a nice large die-crack and not a scratch at the neck. There is another die crack below the letters rty of liberty in the hair bun. These are common areas where die cracks occur, and can aid on helping what VAM number one has according to vamworld.com. Yeah, a MS-63/64 sounds about right.

I'm not a fan of these either. even though she's weakly struck there is tons of luster around. there are couple things that would hold it back from a 65, strike being one, the scratch above the eye in the hair, a little banging around against other coins but not much. MS64
