Lucky Cuss Pillar of the Community United States 4883 Posts	Posted 03/16/2021 8:29 pm This one came to me unattributed, and in this instance I'm unable to pin it down as of yet. It's just under 15 mm across, and weighs 3.53 grams. The obverse clearly depicts Janus. The reverse is in a bit rougher shape. My initial impression was that the figure on the right might be a satyr with a bow, but I'm far from confident in that interpretation. It may be that the scene consists of nothing more than simply two seated figures facing each other. The one to the left looks to me to be a woman. I suspect it's either Macedonian or Thessalonian. As to the figures, they look a bit like centaurs to me.
