Hey Coin-hunters,

I found this coin recently and just had time to review it under the glass. Below are the abnormalities I see.

Obverse:

1. Die chip on the ear - looks almost like a skin tag
2. The word Liberty looks off-center - the B E T and Y appear to be slightly larger than the rest of the lettering
3. The 7 in the date has some doubling

Reverse
1.Double Die
2. Engravers Initials look weird? Is the look taller? With a different font?

Extra Cred:
The coin weight is 3.2 grams

Your thoughts?

Looks pretty normal overall. The 7 took a hit,the FG is normal for the year.

I agree with John1.
The things the OP pointed out are design "abnormalities" for the year and are on all Lincoln cents from 1973. Especially the large designers initials. A "one year and done" sort of design element.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Agree--appears to be within the '73 design range. Not seeing mint errors.
