1973 - D - Lincoln - Multiple Errors

Below are the abnormalities I see. Obverse: 1. Die chip on the ear - looks almost like a skin tag 2. The word Liberty looks off-center - the B E T and Y appear to be slightly larger than the rest of the lettering 3. The 7 in the date has some doubling Reverse 1.Double Die 2. Engravers Initials look weird? Is the look taller? With a different font? Extra Cred: The coin weight is 3.2 grams Your thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff

The things the OP pointed out are design "abnormalities" for the year and are on all Lincoln cents from 1973. Especially the large designers initials. A "one year and done" sort of design element.
