Is This 1953 Penny A Double Die Obverse Or Is It Machine Doubled?

Lmhatt Valued Member United States 111 Posts	Posted 03/18/2021 03:51 am I wanted to say I found a double die obverse penny on this 1953 cent but the doubling is only on the 3. It looks real nice but is it machine doubled? I found another one just like it but its a 1953 D. I thought it was odd to find two similar errors in one day on coins from the same year. Say, it that an emerging die crack on Lincoln's head--otherwise known as a cracked skull? May be just a linear hit. Close-in image of Lincoln's head above the ear-eye line?
